We are one week away from classes beginning, and I should be finishing last-minute details on my classes. But these are the times when my mind is wandering in a dozen different directions. Today was the day I chose to take care of my long-term transgressions online.
If you haven’t figured it out, I tend to be a bit scatterbrained, and my efforts go in many directions. I have good intentions, mostly, but often I start something, only to head off in another direction. In 2012 I started my indie publishing efforts, and have come out with about ten titles since then. I also learned that your success is just as much dependent on self-marketing as it is writing well, and so I started establishing a presence on Twitter, Goodreads, Amazon, Smashwords, and other sites.
I noticed in passing in recent months that my bios and profiles on these sites were a bit–like, two years–out of date. People recently have been asking how my retelling of Pilgrim’s Project is coming, and if I have a name for it. I do: it’s called Infinity’s Reach, and it was published more than a year ago. Mea culpa.
So I have updated as many bios as I could find, and am swearing a blood oath to keep them up to date after this.
I hope a blood oath is enough….
