Welcome!

Welcome to the official website of author Glen Robinson. I’ve written 28 books–so far–focusing mostly on Christian suspense novels, but also dabbling in non-fiction, children’s stories, Biblical adventures, science fiction, and other speculative fiction. You might have also read one of my 200-plus published articles or stories over the years, or seen my name as an editor somewhere. Or maybe you’re one of the many former students from my university classes.

Here you’ll find my occasional blog posting, an introduction to a wide assortment of my books, and a sharing of what motivates me to write what I do.

Feel free to look around, make comments, and ask questions. Remember: the joy is in the journey.

Featured Book:

Nicola Tesla’s most trusted assistant, Fritz Lowenstein, is given responsibility for a notebook that records strange occurances in Tesla’s laboratory, things Tesla doesn’t want his benefactors to know about. Are there ghosts about? Or are they aliens? A hundred years later, Lowenstein’s college-aged grandson inherits the notebook and all the headaches that come with it. Will it result in unlimited electricity for all? Or the end of mankind? Read Tesla’s Ghost.

Who Is Glen Robinson?

Yes, I am the author of 28 books. At least, that’s how many I have so far. I’m still writing, even at age 73. In addition, over the years I have published more than 200 articles, stories, and newspaper columns. I spent ten years as a book and magazine editor, and had the honor to serve as editor of two national magazines.

Since 1998, my family and I have been located in north Texas, where I earned my PhD in Information Science at the University of North Texas and spent 22 years in the classroom as a full-time professor. I retired in 2021, found retirement boring, then unretired in 2023 when the university told me they couldn’t do without me. Right now, I am teaching 3/4 time and, you guessed it, still writing. Along the way, I was twice awarded an Angel Award for writing and editing, and in 2020 received a regional Emmy along with two of my colleagues. I am a father of two grown children, two not-so-grown grandsons, and a husband to a loving wife of 51 years. I am a committed Christian, as is reflected in my writing, and look forward to a world where I will no longer be a writer, but will spend my time exploring other worlds and talking to my Creator.

On “The Serpent and the Dove”

“I read this book in one day, it was that good. We need more riveting Christian fiction like this!”

On “The Overcomers”

“Storyline for the series is realistic-if you believe the Word of God, the Bible. All Glen Robertson’s books are good. They keep your interest and use Biblical truth realistically.”

On “If Tomorrow Comes”

“The author certainly has done his job. Very plausible scenarios to what may happen to our religious freedom as earth’s history winds down.”

On “Tesla’s Ghost”

“High voltage excitement. This book is just the beginning of the adventure.”

On “The Heretic”

“The Heretic is a fast-paced thriller ultimately about spiritual warfare. Ideally suited for a YA audience, this book is well written and thought provoking.”

  1. I’d love to see the Heretic Trilogy in audiobook! BTW, my wife, Kathy proofed your books for you and you sent us a signed copy! Thanks. I’m a digital artist and would love to tackle a movie poster for your books. God Bless.

  2. Wow! I have thoroughly enjoyed all of your books. The Heretic series has been very thought provoking. Definitely inspires me to think about God in many situations and to be patient, that He is going to work all things out in His time.. Keep writing. Thank you!!

  3. Hi Glen! My name is Heidi Westcott, my dad Elbert Westcott tells me he was friends and went to PUC with you back in the day. I have loved your books from the very first one I read, to the last. I’ve read and re-read them all. I wish you had wrote a sequel to Tesla’s Ghost, but that’s OK. I’m so grateful for your writing abilities, and I truly believe God has given you a gift. Thanks for all your creativity, and how you’ve poured it onto each page of your work. God bless!🙏
