You Like Free Things, Don’t You?

I am getting both excited and a little nervous about my new book, Chosen, coming out in December. I am still working on it, but I have given myself a deadline and I am sticking to it. I will be done with everything by early December. That’s a promise.

But I believe that the best form of marketing is word of mouth. And so I am making you an offer:

Jonathan_Warns_by_eikonikAnyone who signs up for my newsletter before December 1 will get a free e-book copy of Chosen.

At this point, I probably need to tell you what it’s about.

Chosen is the story of Jonathan of the Bible. For those who don’t know, Jonathan was a courageous, God-fearing young man who also happened to be the Crown Prince of Israel. His father, Saul, did many things in contradiction of God’s wishes, and so Saul was told that not only would he be taken off the throne, but that his children wouldn’t inherit it either.

My question is: if Jonathan was so righteous, why was he punished when Saul was punished? What made him into someone who couldn’t be king?

But that’s just the philosophical question. If you are familiar with my books, you know that they are, first of all, full of action. And I promise plenty of that. The Bible, especially the Old Testament, often reads like an action novel. And many times we try to sanitize it so it is safe. Well, this story is anything but safe.

But if you’re getting the e-book for free, what can you lose? Take a chance.

What do I get out of it? Well, my hope is that you will share an honest review of the book on Goodreads, Smashwords, Amazon or maybe all three.

Interested? You can sign up for the newsletter at the top or the right side of this blog. Thanks in advance.
