When I was putting together The Champion, I wanted an intro that not only caught the interest of the reader but gave them a sense of the spiritual battle that Harris Borden, the young pastor who becomes the hero of the story, was about to innocently about to launch himself into. And so I wrote a scene that involved not only Satan as he watched the resurrection of Jesus Christ, but three of his lieutenants, who would become major parts of the three books in the series. Here is the prologue of that first book, brought to you to give you a sense of that series.
