It’s NaNoWriMo Time Again

Ours is not to reason why…or how. Just do it. That’s what Nike says.

In case you haven’t heard, November is National Novel Writing Month, and I plan on doing it once again. The event calls for participants to write 50,000 words of a novel in the 30 days of November, then turn them into the NaNoWriMo website for credit. I’ve done it seven times before and won seven times.

I can’t say that writing that fast has given me my best writing, but it is a good way to get a chunk of writing done. Technically, you’re supposed to write a complete 50,000-novel that month, but I tend to use it to write 50K words on one of the many projects I have on the burner. So starting tomorrow, that’s the plan.

So if you don’t hear much from me, you will know why. Tesla’s Ghost is calling, and with any luck and a lot of elbow grease, by the time I get to December I hope to have most of it written.

I’ll let you know.
