Last Day, First Day

These are busy days for all of us, I know. We just got done with Thanksgiving, we’re gearing up for Christmas. We’re making our Christmas lists and checking them twice.

In my neck of the woods, I am down to the last two weeks of classes, and then we have final exams, so there’s that. And I am desperately trying to get ready for a new semester, which will be a dilly, if all indications are correct.

On top of that, I’m launching a book. A great book, I hope.

I entitled this Last Day, First Day because I want to talk about two specific events.

First, today is the Last Day to get in on the Goodreads giveaway for five signed copies of The Key of Solomon. That drawing will happen sometime after midnight when all the names are in the pot, and I will be responsible for mailing out five of my precious books. If you are as excited as I am by this new book, make sure you sign up.

Second, tomorrow is the First Day you will be able to purchase The Key of Solomon as an ebook at Amazon. It’s the launch! I’m holding my breath that everything goes as planned, but so far so good. The paperback is there too, so figure out which one is for you, and then try it on for size.

One request though: if you do get it and read it, I want to hear what you think. Better yet, write a review on Amazon. Indie authors know that reviews are their life’s blood. So help an author out, will ya?

More later!

  1. Raises hand in true excited student form….me….pick me. πŸ˜„πŸ˜„ I would love to have a signed copy of your new book. I so thoroughly enjoy your style of writing and the intensity of the characters. I get pulled in to the story and can imagine and feel myself there with each one. So yea, pick me. πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰

    1. As far as the Goodreads drawing goes, I won’t be doing the picking. But if you haven’t gotten your copy right away, I will probably be doing some other giveaway events in the future. And if you are in the area of Keene, Texas on Dec. 8 and 10, come by the Texas ABC and I will be glad to sign a copy for you. See you then.
