It’s been several years since glenchen.com has seen any major changes. It’s done what it was intended to do: draw attention to my blog, to my books, and to my manifesto. But I have decided to kick over a few rocks and in the process see if there is a better way to present myself to the public.
So in the next few weeks you will see some changes happening here: some slight, some perhaps not so slight. The most obvious is something I committed to this morning. I surrendered my URL of glenchen.com and bought an alternate which was more focused on my real name: glenrobinson.org. Glenchen.com comes from a nickname I had when I was a student in Austria 50 years ago, and the meaning is lost to everyone who wasn’t there. And the reason why I didn’t choose glenrobinson.com is that a real estate agent in Canada currently owns it. Good for him.
You’ll see some other things–slight things–that are changing. I don’t list as many categories on the side of my blog (too confusing), I have changed up my pictures, and I am more specific in my bio page, especially when it comes to my writing. And I plan on revamping my Books page to make it more appealing.
I am open to suggestions from you as well. Want me to drop in a soft-serve ice cream machine while where at it? You got it.
More later.
