Wednesday marks the first day of July, which also marks the first day of our 60 Days of Giveaways. But I can’t wait to announce our first Giveaway. On Friday, July 3, I will do a drawing for an autographed copy of Not My Son, Lord.

Not My Son is the true story of my son’s auto accident in 2002. Matt had just graduated from college and was driving home from Fort Worth when he ran into the back of a 18-wheel tractor-trailer. He ended up in a hospital for two months with traumatic brain injury. At the time of his release from the hospital, he couldn’t eat, walk or talk. Doctors didn’t give us much hope, with one recommending that we “institutionalize” him, rather than deal with his issues at home. The book covers the accident, his time in the hospital and his subsequent recovery. It’s a story of real-life miracles, and if you believe in miracles, you’ll want to read this.

And here’s the kicker: you currently can’t get this book on Amazon. It’s out of print, but I will be rereleasing it as a indie book in a few months.
